Photo Upload Instructions
Instructions:
The way to participate in this experiment is to track two bruises that you got at about the same time, less than 48 hours apart. Make one the “Control” which is not treated and the other the “Treated” bruise where you apply the bruise cream. Be sure to apply the bruise cream twice a day and avoid open sores and broken skin.
If the bruises are on different body parts and cannot be captured by the same photo, you will need to upload separate photos for each bruise and give each photo a title such as “Day 1 – Left Arm Control” and “Day 1 – Right Arm Treated”. You also need to add comments in the Notes section and be sure to include the date the picture was taken and the subject body part.
After you tap the “Submit Photo” button the spaces will turn green indicating the system is processing your photo. Wait for it to finish and you will be directed to the Success page where you can upload another photo or view your Photo Gallery.
People are not always able to upload their photos every day. They sometimes upload several photos at the same session, so sorting them can be a chore. The date you upload your photos is automatically documented by the computer. However, we need to know the date the picture was taken. If you can set your camera to print the date you take the picture onto the photo, that would be really good and help a lot. Nevertheless, you will need to input the date the photo was take, so keep track of it.
If you need to delete or edit your photo title or notes, that can be done from your gallery view.
Tip: Try to take photos in the same lighting and angle each time for best comparison.
